Air Law

Air law provides the regulatory foundation for safe, lawful, and effective flight operations. Flight Dispatchers must understand the legal and operational framework applicable to flight preparation, operational control, flight monitoring, and coordination with the relevant aviation authorities and service providers.

The Air Law module provides structured theoretical and operational training designed for Flight Dispatcher trainees, flight operations personnel, operations control centre staff, and aviation professionals who need to develop or consolidate their understanding of the regulatory environment governing aviation operations.

The module has been developed in alignment with competency-based training and assessment principles and with the relevant knowledge, skills, and operational applications addressed in ICAO Doc 10106, Manual on Flight Operations Officers/Flight Dispatchers Competency-based Training and Assessment.
